It is the world’s oldest active endurance racing event and won by the car that covers the greatest distance in 24 hours. The cars on this track can go up to 405 km/h (251mph). LeMans has always been a race won by teamwork, strategy, and exceptional driving skills. Today, the car that travels the farthest around an 8.5 mile circuit during the 24 hours becomes the undisputed champion. Under the FIA, Le Mans is a part of the famous World Endurance Championship that runs in 9 countries.
