Three Reasons Why Push-Pull-Legs Works. 1. It limits overlap between exercises. With the push-pull-legs split, you’re limiting the overlap that’ll often happen with other training splits. Now, one could easily argue that overlap is a good thing. And it CAN be if you’re managing your volume.
Day 3: Rest. Day 4: Shoulders , Biceps & Triceps. Day 5: Legs & Abs ( Deadlift) Day 6: Rest. Day 7: Rest. Since you will be training your abs and calves twice each week on the 4-day split, you will train with heavier weights on day 2 (5x10 exercises), and higher reps on day 5 (5x30-50).

Pull Ups 5x10. One Arm DB Row 3x12. Cable Straight Arm Pulldown 3x15. Alternate Bicep Curl 3x12. Arnold Curl 2x10. It's is my 4th week running this program, down from 88kg to 85.5kg @13%BF. Getting stronger and leaner. Height: 186 or 6'1. Calories around 2000-2100kcal, 180g P, 150g C, 80g F .
Push/Pull Training. Perform the push days on Mondays and Thursdays and the pull days on Tuesdays and Fridays, resting the remainder of the days. For the moves done for 5×5, add five pounds at the end of each four-week cycle. If you add weight and can get only two or three reps with that load, that’s fine—reduce your rep count, and keep
PPL programs break a weekly training routine into 6 workouts, one dedicated to push, pull, or leg exercises. Each exercise group is performed twice per week (e.g. P/P/L/rest/P/P/L during a week). This allows for high frequency training while still allowing time for muscles to recover from the previous workout.
Take the first half of Day 2 and combine it with the first half of Day 4. So your new schedule would look like this. Day 1 - Strength. Day 2 - Half Hypertrophy/Muscular Endurance, Half Speed and Agility. Day 3 - Power and Optional Conditioning. Plug in off days based on your individual schedule. You simply train the push muscles twice a week, the pull muscles twice a week, and lower body twice a week with whatever dynamics serve your preferences and goals. Therefore, if you want to spend an entire 4-weeks in a strength block using PPL, then you can use lower reps and higher weights for each of the workouts.

Legs: Squat, leg press, hamstring curl, leg extension, calf raises. Push and pull are based around planes. Two vertical movements (for example, one pull from above [deadlifts] and one from below [pull ups]), one horizontal movement (which for pulling is rows), and one isolation exercise. Legs is based on squats, and which machines my gym has.
