Hello, I have GTA IV on Steam, and I realized that the game only detects 512 MB of VRAM after the latest update that upgrades your version to the Complete Edition, I already tried putting commandline.txt in the root folder, and putting the launch parameters on Steam, but the game still is detecting only 512 MB of VRAM, my OS is Windows 10.
Grand Theft Auto IV Complete Edition – This Edition of Grand Theft Auto IV contains the base game and Two DLC packs – The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony. Grand Theft Auto San Andreas – Take on the role of CJ, on his return to the neighborhood, a couple of corrupt cops frame him for homicide. Complete edition won't launch. Already tried doing a complete reinstall of gta 4 and RGL but still wont work. It crashed once in over 20 hours of gameplay. Sometimes at game launch i had invisible Niko or black sky but alt+tab always fixed it instantly. Game was a pain in the ass at PC launch but it's fine now.
How can I check my steam version of GTAIV is 1.0.4.0? Grand Theft Auto IV: The Complete Edition > General Discussions > Topic Details. Date Posted: Feb 17,
I'm actually very impressed by how well GTA IV Complete Edition runs when freshly installed from Steam. Even when docking the Steam Deck and running the game at 1080p, I get a pretty stable 60fps on high settings (which, if you are familiar with how notoriously poorly optimized GTA IV is on PC, you'll know is quite a feat). eV5cu.
