The 84th 24 Hours of Le Mans (French: 84e 24 Heures du Mans) was a 24-hour automobile endurance racing event held for teams of three drivers each fielding Le Mans Prototype and Le Mans Grand Touring Endurance cars from 15 to 19 June 2016 at the Circuit de la Sarthe, close to Le Mans, France before 263,500 spetators. 1971 24 Hours of Le Mans Winner - Porsche 917 KH driven by Helmut Marko and Gijs van Lennep. In many cases, especially during the early years, there are still no 1/18 scale reproductions of the winners (known to the author, at least), these are indicated in orange text .

The Automobile Club de l’Ouest, founder and organiser of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, has teamed up with the Monnaie de Paris to mark this momentous occasion in the history of motorsport. The Monnaie de Paris is France’s oldest institution and has created a one-off trophy that will be awarded to the winners of the 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans.
